Accessibility Statement
Accessibility Statement
Content in accordance with EU Implementing Decision 2018/1523
This accessibility statement applies to the website:
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the requirements set out in Annex A to standard UNI EN 301549:2018 (WCAG 2.1 Level AA) and the requirements of Annex A to the Ministerial Decree of 5 July 2005 (WCAG 2.0), due to the non-compliances and exemptions listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reason:
- a) Non-compliance with Law of 9 January 2004, No. 4.
The site has undergone technical verification using both automated and manual tools (WAVE, axe, Lighthouse, NVDA).
Approximately 58 total issues were detected on the homepage and between 20 and 25 in other sections, with critical errors involving images, focus, labels, and contrast. There are no barriers that completely prevent use of the site, but certain issues may reduce the experience for users with visual or motor disabilities.
Key areas for improvement:
- Alternative text for images (Success Criterion 1.1.1) Some images and logos do not have descriptive alternative text. Planned fix: add clear
alttext to informative images and usealt=""for decorative ones. - Nondescriptive links and buttons (Success Criterion 4.1.2) Some links and buttons consist only of icons without labels. Planned fix: add text or an accessible label describing their function.
- Keyboard navigation (Success Criteria 2.1.1 and 2.4.7) Some elements, such as sliders and buttons, are not operable via keyboard or do not display a visible focus. Planned fix: ensure full keyboard navigation and make focus always visible.
- Color contrast (Success Criterion 1.4.3) Some light text on colored backgrounds or images lacks sufficient contrast. Planned fix: increase contrast between text and background to improve readability.
- Zoom and magnification (Success Criterion 1.4.4) On mobile devices, content cannot be zoomed. Planned fix: remove the
user-scalable=noparameter to allow zoom. - Headings and hierarchical structure (Success Criterion 1.3.1) On some pages the heading order is not logical (e.g., skipping from H1 to H3). Planned fix: organize headings consistently to facilitate assistive navigation.
- Page titles (Success Criterion 2.4.2) Some pages do not have a clear title describing the content. Planned fix: update the HTML
<title>to make it specific. - Focus on hidden elements (Success Criterion 2.4.3) Some non-visible elements receive focus during navigation. Planned fix: remove such elements from the tab order.
Site languages
The site is available in one language (Italian).
The lang="it" attribute must be correctly set at page level to ensure proper interpretation by assistive technologies.
