Traditional Italian sauce
Arrabbiata is a sauce widely spread in the South of Italy, especially in Campania. Even though it has few, simple ingredients, it is very popular thanks to its strong and slightly spicy flavour. This delicious sauce made with Italian tomato pulp, extra virgin olive oil, garlic and a sprinkle of chili pepper is ideal to cook savoury and unique dishes.
The traditional combination is penne and Arrabbiata sauce, but we suggest you to try them also with our Orecchiette.

“Arrabbiata sauce” literally means “angry sauce”: the reason behind its name is hidden in one of its ingredients, chili pepper. When eating spicy food our face tends to get “red” as if we were angry… garlic and chili pepper together give life to a sauce with a strong personality!
