It pairs perfectly with rich first courses, red meats from structured cooking such as arrosticini, a tasty, typical dish from Abruzzo usually made from sheep or lamb meat cut in chunks and pierced by a skewed and cooked on a brazier with elongated shape. Montepulciano d’Abruzzo it matches impeccably also with seasoned cheeses, for example with Pecorino cheese.
