Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOC (Denominazione di Origine Controllata). Sparkling wine abboccato from Emilia-Romagna, Modena. Product of Italy.

Characteristics: Intense red colour with purple shadows. Floral and fruity scent. Dry taste, pleasantly sapid. Glossy appearance with lively foam, shaded, pronounced rosè colour.

Alcohol content: 9,5% vol.

Allergens: Contains sulphur dioxide, sulphites

Food pairing

Delicious paired with vegetable or meat pasta seasoning or more in general it goes well with meat and roasts. It makes an excellent aperitif next to a selection of cold meats and cheese for an 100% Italian aperitivo.

Did you know

The history of Lambrusco dates back to antiquity and has been spoken of throughout time by some of the most famous poets and writers of the classical age (Virgil, Cato, Varrone, Pliny the Elder), who in their works describe a "Labrusca vitis", which was a wild vine producing sour fruits that used to grow on the edge of the countryside.
